ASU Fall 2020 Capstone Project
Disposable Ocean is an immersive, multimedia, art installation featuring art made entirely from recycled materials and other trash, visuals, and a voice-over with an ambient track. The project imagines an alternate reality or distant future where nature has evolved to incorporate plastics into its DNA. Its goal is to get people to understand the scale of the issue of plastic in our oceans and why the individual isn’t mainly to blame like many are led to believe.
